Christ-Centered Counseling

Foundations' rates vary based on the region we serve. Our regular rates vary from $85 - $120 per 50-minute session, but there are opportunities to reduce rates based on church partnership and scholarships. Intake sessions are $135 per 70 minute session (first session only). Please click on the region you live above for more information.

Foundations presently does not take insurance, however insurance may cover the costs for counseling. Please reach out to your insurance carrier to see if they would cover "out-of-network" counseling. Additionally, while all of our counselors are Master's Level Counselors, only a few of our counselors are Licensed. Therefore, you may need to ask your insurance company if they cover "non-licensed" counseling as well. 

Many Flex Spending accounts , Health Savings Accounts, and Medical Sharing Insurance Models can be used to pay for Christ-Centered Counseling.

When considering secular counseling covered by insurance vs biblical counseling, many discover it is well worth the cost!

YES! There are two programs that can reduce the rates for our clients.

1. If your church partners with Foundations, rates can be reduced for a number of sessions as determined by the partnership. Talk to your pastor about partnership!

2. We reduce the rates for low-income families through the Karen Hoffner Memorial Fund. Every year, we raise these funds through our Annual Banquet and other fundraisers to help cover the costs of counseling. Click on the section below for the application.

When you request your first appointment, we will send you a secure online form to enter your payment information.

Future sessions will be charged to the card after each session is completed. You’ll receive receipts and payment confirmation via email. 

While we still accept checks, credit card payments are preferred. Due to numerous locations, we do not accept cash.

Why, yes we do! Video counseling is offered for almost everyone in the world! However, some states in the US, such as New Hampshire and Maine, do not allow Christ-Centered Counseling for residents of their state unless the counselors are licensed through their state. No, not at all. However, please understand that our counsel comes from the Word of God. Therefore you can expect to receive counsel that is in accordance with God's Word, which is compassionate and wise. 

An Intake Session is the first meeting with an Intake Specialist for the purposes of getting the big picture of what our clients are experiencing and need so we can:

• Connect you with the best fitting counselor within 2 weeks
• Make recommendations for services and/or resources that would benefit you prior to meeting with their counselor
• Provide information to each counselor so they are fully prepared for their first session with each client

Intake Sessions are 70 minutes long and range in cost from $125-$135.

We understand the importance of meeting with a counselor you connect with and can trust has the ability to help you in your specific areas of need.  The goal is to provide excellent customer care.

You are free to share as much or as little in the intake.  We respect that there may be certain details you want to share exclusively with the counselor you will be seeing in the long term.  Everything you share in the intake session will go directly to the counselor you will be working with.
